  • My vision is that the students that enter my room will not leave the same.  They will be noticed, encouraged, and pushed to do what they thought they couldn't.

  • My goal is to not only teach science/chemistry, but to instill a love for science, exploration, questioning, and life long learning in all my students.

  • I hope that all my students will know not only the periodic table and how chemical reactions occur, but will also know that they are amazing, intelligent, and gifted.  That they will learn how to take the lessons learned in the classroom and apply them throughout their lives.

  Mrs. Bryant

Some fun facts about myself are I was born in St. Paul, MN but grew up near the beach.  I am the oldest of 4 children in my family and my youngest sibling is 16 years younger than me.  I play the flute and piano.  I also love to play volleyball and ride horses.  I ran the 2004 Marine Corp Marathon in Washington DC.  My husband, three children, and I moved from Charleston, SC to Nashville in January of 2021.  I enjoy listening to all genres of music and my favorite color is blue.

Education

I graduated from high school in 1999 and attended several universities while obtaining my bachelor's of science in chemistry from the College of Charleston in 2006 and my master's in Education in 2023 from Trevecca. While working through school, I was a bench chemist at LGC.  I have previously taught honors chemistry, standard chemistry, and physical science at Hillsboro High School in Nashville.  I am honored to be teaching at North East high school and look forward to many years here.
